Wore these white straight-leg jeans to a beach lunch and didn't worry about them being see-through at all. The denim's thick enough to feel solid but still breaks in nicely after a day.
The high rise on these actually stays put all day instead of sliding down like my old pair. The straight leg hits right at the ankle, so they work with flats or sneakers. Wore them to a beach dinner and they looked crisp the whole night.
